Medical Technology Leadership Programme

The Medical Technology Leadership Programme has been developed by Irish Medtech Association members to enhance the capabilities of the sector’s current and future leaders and to provide the industry in Ireland with value for money training at the highest level of quality.

The annual "Future Leaders" programme perfect for those in or aspiring to leadership positions within the medical device, diagnostic and digital health sector in Ireland, and is certified by ILM, a City and Guilds business.

Programme Overview

Many in or aspiring to leadership positions will often specialise in a specific function or area within their company. This comprehensive programme is specifically aimed at those in middle to senior management roles and will provide participants with a fundamental knowledge of the key competencies required for strategic leadership in the medtech sector, from finance to strategy, clinical investigations to employment law.

There is a wide mix of delegates on the programme each year ranging from Plant Managers and Senior Managers to Engineers and Team Leads from various functions across a medtech site. The mix of competences and experience on the programme adds to the knowledge sharing and learning's in each workshop.

The programme is delivered over 9 days through a series of interactive and engaging workshops, facilitated by industry subject matter experts.

Who should attend

The programme is aimed specifically at middle to senior management from all functions in the medtech industry (scientists, quality & regulatory affairs, engineering, product and product development, business development, marketing, investment and acquisition, HR etc).
